FLAUNT Magazine Summary

After three months of making myself indispensable in the FLAUNT Magazine offices as an intern I was hired as a full-time designer. My responsibilities included designing editorial/fashion layouts, concepting and executing advertising projects, and finding cover artists for each issue. Advertising and advertorial brands include projects for: Converse, BMW, Hennessy and Belvedere Vodka. I also, organized work flow by developing and maintaining archival system for past issues and assisted the Creative Director in the search and interview of prospective interns.

While I was with the art department, the magazine was named one of three finalists, chosen out of 2,800 entries, for a prestigious FOLIO Award in the categories of Best Full Issue of a General Interest Magazine and Best Single Article in a Consumer Entertainment Magazine. The magazine also received three awards from PRINT for Excellence in Design, as well as a medal for editorial design from the Art Director's Club.
